Fourth Annual Holiday Book Drive

The John Thompson III Foundation hosted its fourth annual holiday Book Drive when the Georgetown University men’s basketball team played American University at Verizon Center on Saturday, Dec. 17. Fans brought children’s books to the game to aid the all-boys Septima Clark Public Charter School in their effort to build a school library. For more information on the school visit www.scpcs.org.

Camp for the Holidays?

The 2012 Georgetown Basketball School will open registration in the next few days. This year we would like to give people the opportunity to purchase the camp experience for sons, grandsons and friends as holiday gifts. In addition, opening registration much earlier than usual will give people the chance to spread the camp fee out over several payments. We will add another post when registration is officially open.

This year the John Thompson III Foundation partnered with the Washington Jesuit Academy to host its Fifth Annual Community Festival on Sunday, September 18, 2011. The event coincided with WJA’s 10th Anniversary.
