The John Thompson III Foundation Mission
The mission of the John Thompson III Foundation is to foster recently established non-profits that serve at-risk children and families. The primary focus being education and healthcare for families. Our goal is to raise funding and bring awareness to the partners we support.
The Foundation partners primarily, but not exclusively, with non-profits in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region, that specialize in programs targeted to underserved children and families.
2008 Foundation Weekend:
The 2nd Annual John Thompson III Foundation Weekend will take place on September 26 & 27, 2008. The Foundation will once again plan a gala dinner to be held on Friday, September 26 at Atrium and host a Community Day on Saturday, September 27.>>more details to come.
